the wonderous rains :)

its a wonder how even a few drops of rain after a torturous span of immense hot days gives so much respite to the body and soul likewise… Its like a wound has been bandaged, like a loving one has been caressed, like a sin has been forgotten. The mind, body and soul are all refreshed, reborn to carry on all activities. Its a natural ointment sent straight from the heaven of heavens to shower us with love that the almighty beholds. Its a welcome to happiness, welcome to joy and a welcome to all the things that send the heart singing and the soul dancing…

PS: still not rained in Chandigarh and Delhi… but who cares… i’m currently in Kolkata and its awesome here right now yay!!!

and it rained… :D

finally, the wait for the rain did end…  The early cyclone called Aila which struck here in Kolkata took away the monsoons with it… and in spite of the soaring levels of humidity there was no trace of rains whatsoever. But yesterday cool breeze started offering respite against the increasing heat and soon there was a rain shower… not the ferocious types that was experienced during the cyclone but a gentle shower to bring the mercury level down. For the past 2 days, awesome weather here while Chandigarh and Delhi still remain under the torture of the heat wave with not even a single drop so far…

ahhh… for the first time.. glad to be in kolkata

On a roll with rolls :)

The best thing about Kolkata: there are like a gazillion shops for rolls, egg, chicken, veg, paneer and all… you turn around a street filled with these shops, and the next street smells the same… Its lovely Really awesome rolls at prices so low that i bet that nowhere in India you get such great rolls at such awesome prices… So i am on a roll with these rolls… in love with them actually… the smell that each such shop offers automatically makes my feet stop, and crave for them… fuelled on them actually these days

ooOoo largest foundry in India :O

being at the largest foundry in India for my summer training, makes me witness some really cool scenes. One was that of molten iron being poured in casts(which are as big as a small car) for the production of railway bogies (one of the prime sectors in which TEXMACO ventures). The metal was as bright as the sun itself seen in the noon time. It poured with some explosions in the middle. Its fury so immense, which in about 6 hours would cool down to form the solid metal…

The foundry is huge, split into two sections, the old and the new foundry. The new, totally automatic. Its so cool to watch the huge arms in operations and the overhead crane carrying tonnes of materials feets above from us. The heat too intense due to all the melting and stuff going on, but the sights totally promise interest…

Golgappaaaaa…

Kolkata has really awesome food if you talk about non-veg and stuff… even some pretty good chat things… and the sweets are ever too famous… but when it come to the beloved Puchkaa… its a BIG NO…. no bong vendors… you cannot make them… stop it right now…

GOD… i miss the ones in Chandigarh… i really do…

if i have a wih for the hour, i would like to teleport back there and have t hem abhi….

Pickpockets strike!!!

Finally, the pickpockets make me their mark… and what do the morons take away… ahh… a 100 guesses will fail… they took my pack of chewing gums(lucky i keep only that and my training centre’s ID card in that)… biggest idiots ever… proves they just need a thing to steal… anyways… hope ur breath stinks less now you pathetic creatures… happy pickpocketing… may you get hold of an unpinned grenade some fine day… gud lukos till then…

Feelings, yet again

its feelings again… they make it so tough… crazy at times, what does the other person feel, what about our own feelings, how others feel about us, how we feel about others… its all crzy stuff that bothers. Bothers at the middle of night, at the peak of the day… A world without feelings would have been merrier. atleast for each person individually… feelings cause pain… cause sadness, cause sufferings… ahhh… why am i feeling this… prob coz of this, prob coz of that… just out of a mess which could not have been there in the first place… again, i do feel stuff, i’m only human…
